Residential

Residential treatment continues to be one of the safest and most effective ways to treat a severe addiction to drugs or alcohol.

It’s an excellent option for those who need around-the-clock monitoring and longer term care in a safe and supportive setting.

Shadow Hills Recovery offers residential treatment for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our luxury rehab facility is nestled in San Fernando Valley, California and has four bedrooms – two of which are private suites – private bathrooms, a swimming pool and spa.

Take the first step and contact our residential rehab today. We have intake specialists waiting to take your call and start you on the path to healing and recovery.

Giving Clients Hope in a Safe and Supportive Setting

Asking for help is not always easy. Whether you’ve reached out to someone for guidance, or you’ve agreed to seek help following an intervention, you’ve come to the right place. Shadow Hills Recovery provides both detox and residential treatment services that will set the foundation for a healthy and complete recovery.

To help our clients and their families feel more at home, we like to share some of the features and amenities that our facility offers. We want to make each client’s stay as comfortable as possible, which is why we offer a family-oriented setting, a private chef, private master suites and a wide range of behavioral therapies.

Most importantly, being in a sober and positive environment, away from the temptations of drugs and alcohol, gives our clients hope. For the first time in a long time, clients are able to envision themselves living a sober life that is happy, productive and meaningful.

Who Benefits Most from Residential Treatment?

When choosing a treatment program for yourself or a loved one, it’s important to be honest about your needs and how the various types of treatment can help you with your goals for sobriety.

Residential rehab, also referred to as inpatient rehab, is a unique type of care that requires clients to live at the facility while they receive treatment. Clients may stay for 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the type of care they need and what they can afford.

Longer stays in treatment are tied to improved outcomes, so if you’re able to swing it, staying in treatment for extended care is ideal. While each person’s recovery is unique, here are the types of people who typically benefit most from residential treatment:

  • Severe addictions. If you have a serious, active addiction, outpatient treatment may not be enough to manage your needs. A residential program will provide you with 24-hour monitoring and support.
  • Potential for self-harm. Sometimes, people with substance use or mental health disorders have the urge to harm themselves or others. A residential program provides continuous monitoring to prevent self-harm.
  • Toxic or unsupportive home setting. Outpatient treatment programs are beneficial, but to be effective, you must have a supportive and sober home environment to return. If you don’t, it’s best to seek residential care and then transition to a sober living home.
  • Co-occurring mental health disorders. Having a complex addiction and mental health disorder requires more specialized care. The supportive environment and 24-hour access to medications and support make residential rehab an ideal place for people with dual diagnosis.
